Happy 1st Birthday Miss Emily Belle

Happy 1st Birthday my sweet Emily Belle. Our hearts are so sad that you are so far away from us on this most special day of the first year of your life. We miss you a little more today, and with each day that passes you by. We hope your foster mom did a little something special for you today and that your day was filled with fun and happiness. We know she takes great care of you. We are keeping your precious birth mom in our thoughts and prayers today as well. She must be wondering about you and the family, and future that awaits you. We hope she still finds peace with her plan for you and that her life is a good one. We hope she knows God loves her and admires her courage and wisdom.
We think you are getting very close to coming home to your family. We think there may be good news on your case, but need to wait for confirmation from those who are helping us bring you home. Soon, I'll be on my way to pick you up, and when we get home, we'll show you what our really fun b'days are like...it's called Birthday in a Bag!! We all go out to eat at some place great, then we all go to Walmart(very nice store, and your grandfather Da, says...if they don't have it, you don't need it!), or for you it can be ToysRUs(Da has another name for that to), then we all shop around for 45 minutes,(your daddy will be dying by then, having endured a restaurant and shopping in the same outing,) and then we just put all the things you like, and a big gift bag with lots of paper and bows! Then when we get home, you can rip right through all of it while we snap photos of you and eat cake, lots of cake!! And, there is always the Happy Birthday To You song when you blow out your candles (with harmony) and a photo of mom and dad kissing you on those cheeks!! So when you get home, we'll get you in the birthday groove around here. You'll love it! It is late now and your day is probably over, I hope you are sound asleep and safely tucked in your crib. Sweet Dreams,sweet girl...next year we'll do this day...together! I can't wait.
